Breeders Diary Date: 30th June 2017. The Plus 10 Yearling Registration deadline is nearing, with just one month left for yearlings to be registered for the bonus scheme. Plus 10 has paid out more than £8.3 million in additional prize money since the first bonus was made available in 2015. Breeders and pinhookers of yearlings who wish for their horse to remain in Plus 10 must pay the Yearling Registration fee of £200 by 30 June 2017.
Plus 10 is a £6 million owner and breeder incentive scheme which pays £10,000/€12,500 bonuses on top of prize money across more than 600 two and three-year-old races in Britain and Ireland each year. Breeders and pinhookers who pay the middle Yearling Registration fee will enjoy an advantage in the sales ring by offering a horse which can win significantly more prize money, and will receive a share of any bonus prize money won on the track.
For breeders who pay both the Yearling and earlier Foal Registration fees, this guarantees a £2,000 bonus payment should their horse win a race featuring a Plus 10 bonus. Pinhookers who pay just the Yearling Registration will win £1,000 should their horse win a race featuring a Plus 10 bonus. Any horse paid up to the Yearling Registration stage will be flagged as Plus 10 on individual pedigree pages within sales catalogues
