ITBA Summer – Autumn 2013 Educational Programme

The ITBA is delighted to announce details of its summer /autumn 2013 educational programme. It will include a series of “Smart Approach” seminars for breeders, which will at held at ITBA HQ, Greenhills, Kill, Co. Kildare in the run up to the sales season. These will be based on the very successful series the ITBA hosted in 2010 but will address the matters of sales preparation for the 2013 season.

This series of “Smart Approach” seminars will provide a comprehensive panel to address the importance of a good planning and preparation programme in advance of the yearling and foal sales as well as the 2014 breeding season. All seminars will include a visit to a nearby stud farm. Full panellist details will be made known in due course.

Each seminar will commence with registration at 9.30am, followed by lunch at 1pm, with the afternoon’s stud visit by coach departing from ITBA HQ at 2.pm. It is anticipated that visits should be completed by 4pm. Cost for these co funded seminars are as follows; €30.00 for ITBA members and €20 for YITBA members

In addition to the above, the ITBA is excited to be introducing a series of evening guest lectures. These will also take place at the ITBA HQ over the coming months. Commencing at 6.30pm, the guest lectures will be approximately two hours in duration. The invited industry personality will be interviewed by the host for the evening and will include a Q&A session from the floor. This will be followed by light refreshments. Full details of these special evenings including dates, cover charge and invited industry guest will be released at a later stage.
